  Overall, the resort is attractive and well-maintained. Access to the beach was great and we found chairs easily. We didn't use the pool, so I won't comment on that. The unit, B7 is in dreadful need of a remodel/update. We had 5 adults and the accommodations were very tight. Many, if not most, other units are much more attractive and welcoming. I would have to rate that particular unit a bit shabby at best (the ice maker in the kitchen didn't work). The basics were there, but nothing to write home about. Check-in was easy as was check-out. I didn't and had no need to interact with any of the staff other than to drop off keys upon leaving. I think this would be a fine place to stay if choosing one of the nicer units. All seem to be the same layout, it's just that some other owners have made significant improvements to that basic layout and nicer furnishings.

  We have stayed at Sanibel Arms West at least 20 times now. We keep returning for many reasons. It is a great location on the island. The condos are always very clean, staff is great and attentive to any needs you may have. The entire complex is very well maintained.
