  This is my favorite place in Sanibel. And Sanibel is my favorite place. Right on the beach, great staff, always really clean. There is no ice maker in the unit but just grab a bag of ice and you’re all set. I’ve already booked it again and looking forward to my next trip. Short drive to restaurants and shopping.

  we were happy with the location but unhappy with the twin beds and the smaller bedroom. this room would have been good for two children, but not two adults. The dishwasher was hanging by a thread but it did work. The kitchen dishes and utensils and pans were adequate at best. We had signed up for a different unit and were not happy to have been given this unit. The weather was nice and the maintenance men were very nice and helpful. We have been staying at Sanibel Arms West for almost 20 years and this is the first time we have been disappointed.

  My review is totally based on the C4 condo. We have stayed at the Sanibel Arm West a number of times over 15 years. This is the place we come anytime we come to Sanibel Island. This particular condo had some issues. Dishwasher needs to be replaced. Door to the washer/dryer fell off. No soap dishes in the bathroom. Many lambs had no light bulbs. Picture frame on the ground fell off wall. Also I am not sure why this time the sea grape in front of the beach front condo didn't allow you to see the beach from the first floor. Maybe that was not in control of the management. Like I said we like staying here but disappointed this time. Hopefully they make some changes/improvements to this Unit.

  Good location, short walk to beach, private corner.
  Overall unit was clean; kitchen cabinets &appliance update. Trash pullout bin rusted and hard to use. Dishwasher is coming apart. Front screen door completely broken. Dinning room chairs need sliders( very noisy).

  Returned for another season and this was our longest stay to date (two weeks). Can't beat the location nor the view. Weather was great and place was a bit more quiet than some years due to COVID. We happen to get one of the more tired units and some maintenance should be done to it. Rust, missing creature comforts, broken doors and numerous guests have taken its toll on this specific unit. We love our time on the island and will be back in 2022!
