  Aside from the views of the beach, can’t say too much more about this unit. Way too outdated, grout missing in tiles, closet handles falling off, needs cosmetic repairs throughout.

  We were located in condo C5, which was on an end and had waterfront views. I would recommend springing for a waterfront view if possible. We spent a lot of time on our lanai having morning coffee, or reading when it was too hot to be on the beach. We have stayed at Sanibel Arms West previously, and like that bikes, tennis courts and a pool are available for use, as well as beach chairs. The beach is one of the nicest on either side of the property. The staff was helpful when we had questions, and the condo was clean.

  It was great as usual. In our unit there are a couple things that should be addressed. The oven does not keep temp up to setting and the AC unit on the roof is very loud and vibrates should be looked at.

  Stayed in a beach front apartment for a few days. Everything fine except that it is not possible to lock the balcony. This is a drawback. It is possible to enter the apartment through the balcony.

  This was our second visit to Unit C5. Although we still love the unit, some repairs would be helpful. The carpet is old and in need of replacement or just have tile throughout, the kitchen faucet dripped continually without adjustment, and the lamp on the front porch is in need of repair and/or replacement. We loved having beach chairs at our disposal and the general upkeep of the grounds is great. The pickleball court was used everyday by our group.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite Elsa. The condo was very bright and comfortable. There are some cosmetic issues that need to be addressed. In 2 areas, the walls were spackled, but not painted over. The paint around the wall outlet in the kitchen is peeling. I suggest the whole condo be painted to give it a fresher look. The furniture is also in need of deep cleaning. There was an area on the couch that we put a towel over due to something on it. The pull on the master closet is stripped and comes off in your hand. There is mold on the tile by the sliding glass door and on the extra bathroom floor. As I said, it's purely cosmetic, but it would help the overall quality of the condo. Oh, and there were ants in the kitchen! It would also help to have more trash cans around the grounds. The one going to the beach gets over-filled very quickly and smells awful, maybe ones by the hoses. We will definitely be back!

  As first time visitors to Sanibel, this condo proved perfect. The website provides a map of the “Campus “ so I was able to see the exact location of our condo. I chose C5 it was beach front, second floor and a corner unit. The condo itself was roomy, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Customer service was excellent. Our daughter arrived early and needed a quiet place for a business meeting. They accommodated her by allowing her access to the condo several hours before check in. We also had an issue with the air conditioning. Response was immediate and quickly resolved. Amenities were perfect for us. Beach chairs, umbrellas, new gas grills, tennis and pickleball, which we enjoyed daily. We hope to return next year!

  Great Customer Service!! On day 2 of our 4 day stay, the AC in our unit went out. I called the office and spoke with Courtney. She said she would send the AC technician right over. Within an hour the repair guy was there to check out the problem. He said the AC had froze up and we needed to turn it off for a while to thaw it out. Luckily it was not very hot out and we were able to open up the glass doors and have a nice breeze. As the day went on our condo became very warm. I called Courtney again to see if they could come see if the AC was "thawed" the maintenance man was right there and he brought us a key to the next door condo!! We were able to leave all of our stuff in the original condo, but use the condo with AC when we needed it!!

  This is our fourth trip to Sanibel. We have stayed at SAW each time. We love the property and always have very good service. The C5 unit was somewhat outdated. Additionally, it wasn't cleaned as well as we are used to. Having said that, it didn't negatively impact our trip.
