  overall a nice experience, the condo was nice and clean, square footage bigger than the condo at other locations we have stayed at, the layout of the entire complex was good, nice beach access, the bathrooms could use a little upgrading. we will stay at the Sanibel Arms West again and i would recommend.

  We had a great time! Beautiful weather. Living room and kitchen were beautiful! Master bedroom mattress is in need of replacement as it’s lumpy! Screen door to lanai doesn’t close and some of the ceiling fans don’t work.

  We moved from one condo to this condo to complete a 3 week stay. We were told this was a newly redone condo, the paint was clean, however the plumbing had many problems, we cleaned out two drains and sort of unstopped a toilet. We received multiple bites of some sort and when reported to office, rec'd a card there was no activity and still we rec'd add'l bites! The mattress needs to be replaced without a foam cushion. The Sanibel Arms property is good and we liked being there.

  Condo was very adequate. It was large enough to comfortably fit all 4 adults and 2 children. Close to restaurants and shopping and very close to the beach. Nice wide beach. Air Cond wasn't working so went a few days without. Only other thing was the floor needed mopping. It was sticky and your feet were very dirty on the bottom. Still a great place.

  Love everything about this unit. Mom loves easy access to beach and all other areas. Will continue to come back as much as we can. Wish I had $$$ to make an offer if and when owner sells. 😊The only thing I would recommend this trip is new dishwasher as pieces are rusted and falling off inside machine. Also, refrigerator- when bottom door is closed freezer door opens and stays slightly open.

  We have been staying there for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience. Sanibel Arms West condos ( we've stayed in most of them!) ARE GORGEOUS! The grounds are beautiful, steps to the Ocean with complementary lounge chairs I could just hang on the beach all day reading and collecting seashells! Steve, the General manager and all his staff are so helpful and very kind. They just make your staff complete. Honestly, it's the best place on the Island! A SLICE OF HEAVEN!

  This is the 4th year in a row of spending Thanksgiving AT SAW. We love S.Arms West as the staff is great, the property is great, the amenities are great, the location is great. Our usual unit was booked this year so we tried D1. They have a perfect location right in the middle, right by the beach access, everything going for it. Having said that, it seems like the location forgives them from keeping the unit up to the standards we are used to. The appliance were older; rusty door fridge, dishwasher seals rotted, laundry older, minimal kitchenware, etc. The kitchen set up is cramped. None of this ruined our vacation at all. It just reinforces that if you have the best location spot on the property doesn't mean it's the best unit on the property. I would say it needs an update to be comparable to the other units.

  Sanibel Arms West continues to please. D1- is located in an excellent place. Our home away from home unit was clean, as always. The new floor and living room furniture are beautiful. Everything we needed in its place. Love to see and hear the familiar staff - From the office staff to maintenance (which we did not need) the service was exceptional. My only regret was not being able to spend more time. Reservations are in place for summer of 2021.
