  Overall, for a rental unit it was a fine experience. We had four ground floor units in total for a total of 14 family members. Being directly on the Gulf was great as we could watch the water from our unit (even though it was ground floor). Leslie and the staff were really great to work with and they helped book us for next year before we left. The units are aged--no question and it shows. But they are generally in satisfactory repair with mostly functioning amenities. It is a very family friendly, mainly quiet property (what we wanted) and other guests were pleasant. Obviously it was satisfactory or we would not return.

  Unit was in a great location. It was neat and clean the appliances though not new were nice although the dishwasher didn’t always work. a call to the office and someone from maintenance appeared quickly and got it going. Overall a pleasant two weeks.

  We loved our stay at Sanibel Arms West and loved our Unit. This was a family trip, and we had rented three units, with my children's units directly above us. We love the lay-out, which makes it very family friendly. And the beach access is wonderful. Great trip!

  We have stayed at SAW many times and have always loved the complex. However this unit is about as basic as it gets. The kitchen was missing several basic items and the unit was in need of several repairs. I would highly recommend SAW but not this unit.

  Disappointed condo in disarray. Rented ocean view lower and couldn't see the beach or the ocean. the vegetation was overgrown. In side there were broken drawers, missing cooking utensils, and silverware. To be honest manager tried her best to address our problems. But the property description said beach view, and pictures views from the online display of D1 were not accurate. After telling Manager about our concerns, they issued us a $200.00 credit and we thought it very fair.
  Yes we would rent Sanibel Arms West again. we will go at a deferent time of the year. The island is beautyful and we have rented here many times before and were pleased.

  We love Sanibel and have stayed many times at Sanibel Arms West! After having to cancel our 2019 Spring Break, we were excited to get away in 2021! The weather and locale of the condo were ideal. The actual condo was a 7 out of 10. Bottom line is this oceanfront condo needs a refresh. The master needs some updating - maybe a dresser (in the large closet maybe). Master bath is tiny and is in need of some TLC. The kitchen/dining area is spacious and is nicely appointed with colorful decor, but needs some significant cleaning of furniture and more kitchen supplies. Overall, we loved the oceanfront location, beach, location on the island, upkeep of the overall complex and friendliness of guests

  The condo was very convenient to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything that would be needed during your stay. I like that the floors were ceramic tile. I do think the furniture needs to be updated as it is very worn and dirty. The master bedroom smelled like body odor and I could not figure out where it was coming from. Overall, it was a nice condo but it could use some improvements.
