  This is our 3rd or 4th year staying at Sanibel Arms West in Unit D6. I love the location, gorgeous ocean view, and all of the convivences that Sanibel Arms West offers. I was, however, very disappointed in the condition of our unit this year. It is such a shame that the owner/property managers have let this ocean front unit deteriorate over the years to this level. Lights didn't work; the top of the microwave fell off each time you used it; serious grout issues needing repair in master bath; kitchen cabinets all marked up and paint off which a little touch up could easily repair; pictures changed with big holes left open for all to view. A few hours of maintenance could have this unit restored to what it used to look like. Such a shame as we love this unit, but I doubt we will stay here again after years of enjoyment due to the current condition. A few hours of repair and some minor upgrades/modernization could easily restore this unit to what it once was and how the picture shows it.

  Love the resort, my condo was very nice but I would have to complain about the carpeting in the master bathroom, There was a huge stain on it and I feel the whole thing maybe should be replaced. Overall was very satisfied and will be back.

  The bottom rack in the dishwasher didn’t work right as it didn’t roll and easily came off the track, so we just loaded it as is. The plantation shutters in the guest bedroom could stand repair or replacement. The ocean view from the kitchen and lanai was gorgeous! We enjoyed our stay so much. Will plan to return next year!   Sanibel Arms West has become an annual destination for our family. We love everything about this place. The beach is perfect. The condo is perfect. The heated pool is awesome. I could go on and on. It's an ideal place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather.

  Is our second time staying in this same apartment, we love the location and the view. The only thing to complain is that the washing machine is really nasty, is totally covered with black mildew and I try to clean it with some Clorox but it didn’t work. We love this place but please do something with that machine. Two times in this apartment, one year apart and the same problem. The rest is in very good shape.

  We had a great family vacation experience as usual at SAW. One thing we did notice this year was the unit was not as clean as in years passed, the dishes and silverware weren't very clean and there was a musty smell. We will be back, but may select a different unit. Thank you.

  Overall very nice stay. The air conditioning was efficient, very comfortable beds, nicely decorated, and furnished. Nice screened porch. Beautiful view of ocean from balcony. The only issues were loose headboards on two single beds in second bedroom, washer door needs to be kept open as some mold was on rubber liner, sliding door to porch was very hard to open and shut, we walked around from front door onto porch. Ice maker in fridge did not work. BBQ grills need to be emptied and some did not start after turning propane on. The above were minor problems and we enjoyed our stay and would come again.
