  Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and shell washing station. Nice pool (no bugs thanks to the screens)! Office & maintenance staff were top-notch. Condo Drawbacks: 1) Moldy hole in bathroom wall 2) Lanai screen door drags & scratches across the floor 3) No ice-maker 4) No large stockpot for boiling corn on the cob, spaghetti, etc.

  Renters in the unit upstairs were very noisy, no carpeting on the floors. Furniture was a little dated, and there could have been a few more items in the kitchen. Location was great, nice view from the unit.

  Everything was great! The unit was perfect and very clean, there were plenty of linens and the unit was fully stocked with everything we needed. The property was quiet and very well maintained. The property is quick to get to when you arrive onto the island and is in a great area to ride a bike. There are other beach accesses close by if you want to explore, that are a 5-10 min bike ride away. The staff is fantastic and very responsive! We had an amazing time!

  We have been staying at Sanibel Arms West since my teen years, I am 52 now. Coming here is always pleasant and relaxing. The units are ample, well furnished and most have been updated in the last years. This unit was nice, on the lower floor and in a corner. Our family had a nice time here. My only critique, not towards the unit but overall is the porch lights are now kept off in the evenings and the dunes have been grown so high I cannot get a clear view of the sea on my ocean front. I used to enjoy sitting outside in the porch viewing the ocean and the evenings, reading a book or sipping a beverage. Overall I highly recommend Sanibel Arms West.

  We've been coming to SAW for years. 1st time staying in oceanfront condo (E1) & it was totally worth every penny! Only complaint would be the dryer took over an hour to dry 2 towels. Everything else was wonderful. Fix the dryer & it's 5 stars all the way! See you next year!
