  This is a great unit in a great location, but could use some attention to detail when cleaning and maintaining. We gave a list of about 10 things to the office when we checked out. It was our first time staying in this particular unit as the office "lost" our original booking for our usual unit.

  I’ve been staying at SAW for years. Love the east end location. Walk to the lighthouse every morning at sunrise. Wonderful gulf front view. Condo was nicely furnished and well maintained. But is smelled like mildew. My clothing even smelled from hanging in the closet.

  We had a great time in condo E7. The condo was clean, and we had everything we needed. Loved having the washer & dryer in the unit. Loved the view and proximity to the beach. The only issue we had was the mattress in the master bedroom, but we managed okay! We would recommend replacing some of the pans and also the knives as they were functional but not ideal. These are just minor issues that would not prohibit us from staying there again.

  Overall a great experience. Beach front condo was amazing to wake up to. The condo was in good condition and well maintained. The dishwasher was not working appropriately leaving food residue behind so we did dishes by hand. Not a big deal other than a lack of dish clothes and drying towels. I would all include the basics of kitchen needs such as coffee filters correctly sized and simple seasonings such as salt, pepper, garlic salt and an all purpose seasoning. These have been so helpful while staying at other locations similar to this. Really sad to see the courts still closed due to COVID although we saw others inside of the courts playing pickle ball.

Each unit is different so you can choose your decor and furniture style. Having each unit listed with photos is very helpful.   My wife and I have been renting this unit {off & on) for years! We love the view of the Gulf, the accessibility of the beach, and the great location compared to the restaurants and other attractions on the island.
  
  If there was any derogatory tick, it would be that the unit needs a little TLC with maintenance on doors, window treatments, etc., just very minor things.
  
  We've stayed in one or two other units in the same building over the years, but this remains our favorite!
  
  Our favorite eating spots, in no particular order, are George & Wendy's, Lazy Flamingo, Mucky Duck, Doc Ford's, and Sanibel Grill/Timbers. I would not recommend the place formerly known as Jacaranda, especially during Covid-time.
  
  For activities, we usually will spend most of our time on the beach in front of the unit, but will take one day to go up to Captiva's beach by the Mucky Duck, but beware, a two-hour parking pass is $25 with the all-day being $40! We will also cross back over the causeway to Fort Myers Beach for a day, and eat at Fresh Catch Bistro. Of course, there's the lighthouse as well.
