  First time in this unit and it was great. It was very clean, quiet and everything was in it's place. The unit we usually rent was taken by the owner, last minute :( so this unit was provided since it has gulf view and access. The beach access is very convinient but the over grown bushes can be intimidating for my 85 year old mom. We plan on returning to the other unit only for her sake and the access is lined with a hardwood entrance to the sand. It was quite a walk for her from this unit to that particular beach access. Reccomend it if at all the relaxing time it provided.

  Love the Unit, it is right on the beach. SAW is the best value on the island. If you want a pool, it is very nice as well. Excellent grilling area and very family friendly as well- Meet people from everywhere. Management is awesome and extremely helpful. We have been coming to SI for nearly 40yrs and love this place.

  Walking in was such a breath of fresh air as the hotels on the way to Sanibel were less than satisfying. It was clean, location was perfect, very cozy! The bed was super comfortable. The dishwasher even worked well. Had us stocked with all the blankets and towels we could need, nice updated appliances. And the view was amazing. 10 out of 10 would choose this condo every trip I made to Sanibel!

  Our week at Unit F1 was terrific. We missed last year because of COVID, so it was special to return again. F1 is the nicest of all the rentals we have had at Sanibel Arms, but it too had a couple of things that need attention. The bottom freezer door would not open, hence no ice! The front left burner on the stove did not work, and the bottom slat on the plantation shutters in the master sweet was dis-connected from the wand. Thanks for a wonderful spring vacation!   Over all everything was good. We had one cockroach in the living room the first day. Also having the mulch put down during our stay was not good. The smell was so toxic we couldn't sit out on the patio. This is one of the main reasons we like your to sit on the patio and enjoy gulf view

  Location is awesome! Condo was well stocked. Beds are not comfortable and couches need a little updating. Property management lacks something to be desired. We called specifically asking for chair and umbrella services and was told they were available...that’s a lie. You have to haul the very large loungers to the beach and then put away at the end of the day...and we rented 4 umbrellas from Billy’s that we had to haul and put up every day. Extra expense and effort that we didn’t want to deal with but were necessary. Should I dare mention we found the loungers by accident, hidden along the trail between the other 2 condos? We were never told the location and had purchased chairs at Walmart before we knew these existed. Also, you basically were forced to turn over your chairs between 5-6 pm so they could lock them up for the night. So no evenings spent on the beach, at least lounging. The condo right next door had chairs and umbrellas still out while Sanibel Arms West had this crazy 5-6 pm rule. There were about 70 loungers available and over 100 condo units...during busy times that’s not enough for even one person from every unit to have a chair. Lastly, the pool was disgusting.

  We were super happy with our stay at Sanibel Arms West! We stayed in Unit F1 and it was very comfortable.
  
  Seating options in the living room/kitchen were plentiful, air conditioning worked well, and bedrooms and closets were a good size. There are ceiling fans in every room. The bathrooms were smaller than we're used to, but still enough room to shower and get ready. Lots of dishes/pots & pans/utensils in the kitchen, but we couldn't find a pair of scissors. Paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher powder, and dish soap were available. There's a washer and dryer, but you need to bring your own detergent/dryer sheets.
  
  The property was beautiful, access to the beach was literally ten steps away, and the staff that we encountered were very friendly. Check-in/check-out was very simple with the lock box and key drop. The location was so perfect - close to so many restaurants, shopping, and different beaches.
  
  I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend!
