  Our trip was great, as far as housekeeping, I feel that they changed out linens(albeit the sheets on the masterBR bed put on sideways), I know I may be a fussy bed maker but....otherwise condo was sandy and seemed like things not wiped down. Love sanibel arms west condos!

  Overall a great stay! The unit was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The walk to the beach was very doable, not long at all. The pool was very warm and the kids enjoyed it a lot. We were prepared for a hike to the beach based on some prior reviews, but we didn't think it was bad at all. Location on the island is fantastic. We really enjoyed the screened in lanai. Room size and accomodations were adequate. The pull-out sofa worked well for our needs (a 6th person). Rest of family thought the beds were too firm but I thought they were fine, so just depends on your preference I guess. A few minor maintenance issues which could be addressed. The washer stank and had a horrible odor over the course of the week but we used it without issue. Screen door doesn't close well on its own and dishwasher door slams open if you don't make extra sure it's pushed all the way in. The drawer above the garbage did not open/close smoothly. Some extra amenities like body boards or sand toys would have been nice. I also think going the extra mile and providing things like enough toilet paper or paper towels or garbage bags for a week's stay would be nice. Something like that is inconvenient for guests to have to go out by purchase, but probably would cost the owner $5 and be much appreciated!! Overall would stay again if we could not find another unit that provided the things we would have liked to have (beach toys and extra supplies to last us through the week).

  We have stayed several times at the SAW and have only good things to say about it. Our Unit H2 was extremely comfortable, bright and airy with a very well stocked kitchen (crockpot, blender, etc.). We really lacked for nothing which, was a gift in itself. Lounge chairs for the beach were available and perfect to relax on.

  We’ve been coming to Sanibel every summer for the past 20 years. We have always stayed at Pointe Santo, other than just once at Casa Y Bell. This condo was a bit further from the beach than we are used to however not bad at all, very doable walk, good location to the pool also. Condo was beautifully decorated and clean, parking was great, never had an issue other than when landscapers were blocking spots with their truck that they had plenty of room to move up in order not to be blocking parking. Was a bit upset about the landscapers in general as they were directly outside our screened in patio, every morning, where we were trying to enjoy breakfast, and out there very early with loud machinery one day. Too early for that to be going on and we could not enjoy our mornings. There were a number of things that were supposed to be there in the kitchen at check in that we had to call and ask for, garbage bags, dish soap, dish towels, and then they didn’t bring it all the first time we called and we had to call again. Showers need a lot more shelves or holders for shower supplies and master bedroom needed more of an actual dresser with drawers but other than that, the condo itself was very nice! Bike racks close by and the absolute best was very nice beach chairs provided that you could stop and grab on the path to the beach! So convenient, and nice chairs, we LOVED that! Sad that so many guests did not care though about the signs saying to bring your beach chairs back in. Very inconsiderate to a very nice amenity! The pool was not the best, a bit small and could have been cleaner. The garbage room right near our door was so convenient, but had to walk to large recycle bin on property, please put recycle in same closet! Overall, a very nice condo and nice stay, we wanted to take advantage of the add on a half day option as we had a late flight out and loved that the option was available and the next guests coming in were the owners, they said n

  Great location and well-maintained. My only issues were lack of beach towels in the condos-- I've stayed at similar properties on Sanibel where this was standard. Also, it was hard to have family from Ft Myers visit for the day with a $50 parking pass fee.
