  This was a second straight year staying in Unit H5. This unit has all the amenities in the kitchen and rooms that make it a home away from home. The king sized mattress needs to be replaced. Eating meals on the lanai makes it an enjoyable dining experience. We will return to Sanibel Arms West for 19 out of 20 years.

  Upon arrival, (I suggest during the day), the beauty of the landscaping and the white buildings coupled with a brilliant blue sky, will put a smile on your face. My first thought was: "This will be worth every dime we paid."
  
  We've stayed in several units. All have the same floor plan and that's where the similarity ends. Each has it's own uniqueness. Furniture, carpets, paint colors on the walls, etc, contribute to a bright ambiance that's soothing and welcoming. It's almost instant relaxation.
  
  The beach is about a five min. walk from any unit. It's a long beach. The variety of sea shells is overwhelming. Guaranteed you'll collect many and bring them home. The wildlife includes pelicans, birds, seagulls, dolphins and friendly rays.
  The facilities gentlemen are knowledgeable (Can fix anything) and instant help if you need it. The manager and secretaries will be there to answer questions, offer references to fine area dining and if you have difficulty with computers; they'll even copy your boarding passes for you.
  
  would venture to guess that, before you leave, you will make reservations for a return the following yr.

  Great location and accommodations. Friendly staff. Would recommend replacing one of the twin beds that had cardboard pieces between the box spring and mattress. Also the refrigerator never stopped running. It was noisy. Everything else was great!

  We have only missed one year in the last 20 at Sanibel Arms West. The management and all staff always makes you feel welcomed. Our unit at H5 and just about every unit has been upgraded with all the amenities. You see old friends that you have made over the years and make new friends. A perfect relaxing atmosphere that is a one to two minute walk to the beach. We bike everywhere on the island.

  We come 1-2 times every year to Sanibel for many years, mostly to Arms West. As usual, this is Paradise and time flies way too fast.
  Unit H-5 was very nice, comfortable, updated, I would say only the fridge seems to be on its last leg.
  The staff here is very discrete and helpful if needed.
  One suggestion though: people who trim the landscape should replace their gas powered machines with electric ones. Much quieter.

  Cute Decor but also can tell the owners keep up on replacing items when needed. A lot of the kitchen pans etc. looked new. Definitely would recommend this unit but not for thanksgiving because we want to book it again :)

  This was a 4 day getaway to one of our favorite places to visit....only 20 minutes from home but nice to get away and ride bikes, fish and enjoy the beach. Our condo was lovely; fully stocked and comfortable. The beds were great and everyone is very friendly.
