  This is the second time we have stayed in this unit. The last time was about 4 years ago. We absolutely love the unit and the grounds. The only complaint we had was the sugar ants. We know about them but there should be some form of ant killer we could use. Other then that we had no other complaints and can’t wait to go back next year!

  Weather was wonderful---location of condo to pool and beach was perfect--condo was VERY clean---staff was extremely helpful--would definitely stay here again! ONLY suggestion would be some new furniture--it was dark colored and a new rug---lighter and beachier. We visited another couple in a different condo at Sanibel Arms and it was more up to date and brighter and beachier inside. Grounds are beautiful! and so well maintained!

  We love Sanibel Arms West! Condo is spacious, comfortable bed, very clean. One suggestion for improvement: better lighting for reading in living room. Also would have appreciated a pan to bake chicken breasts in the oven.

  We found Sanibel Arms West in our search for a place to “snowbird” for the first time. It is a well-maintained complex located right on the island beach and the management staff was very helpful throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our six weeks on Sanibel - loved the pace of the island, the beach, biking, great food. However, I would not recommend the unit we stayed in (J-7). Hasn’t been kept updated. Furniture was in poor condition, stained, no support, small TVs, broken lamps (I could go on but you get the picture). Looked like it had been furnished from thrift shop purchases. I actually bought furniture covers so we could sit on it without worrying. Definitely needs a complete overhaul! We will be back to the island (God willing) and to this complex but definitely not to this unit! The photos make it look 1,000 percent better than it is. Don’t rent J-7!!

  Clean, roomy, comfortable. Location convenient for shopping, restaurants and of course the fabulous beaches! First time in J7, would choose again. We visited in early November so price was very reasonable.

  The condo was very nice, we love coming to Sanibel Arms West. Our only two small disappointments were the lack of beach chairs, which was surprising since there are usually extras. And our toaster was broken.
