  We have stayed in four different units at Sanibel Arms West and L5 was one of our two favorites. It was nicely furnished and the porch, where we spent much of our time, had a lovely view. The kitchen was well equipped although it could use more flatware. We are very disappointed, though, that the policies of Sanibel Arms West have changed and current renters no longer have right of first refusal to reserve their unit for the same period the following year. We would have liked to reserve L5 again for next year but it was already reserved by someone else before we even arrived. In discussion with other renters, many are unhappy with this new policy and we are hopeful it will change.

  Though L5 has a partial view of the Gulf and the beach, at all times of the day, the lure of the Gulf waters is beautiful. Even and certainly at sunset. The unit is open and welcoming and the light exquisite. A wonderfully relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming beach decor, with all the conveniences, makes L5 a special place to stay and even entertain.

  Great location. We loved this apartment. It's great that since it is on a second floor, we were able to see part of the ocean from the balcony. From the kitchen window we were able to see the tennis courts to make sure they were available before going there to play. From the master bedroom we were able to see the pool. We recommend it.
