  We had a wonderful time with the family and a bunch of friends that also rented units. I have been going to Song Of The Sea for over 15 years straight and it’s the first time I’ve stayed at arms west. The unit was perfect and I’ve even reserved the same week for next year. Unfortunately I’m writing this review the day after hurricane Ian. So I’m doing this with a profound sadness. I hope all is well because I will definitely be there next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay and a wonderful unit. M4 rocks!

  We have rented in Sanibel Arms West since 2001. It is a must to go during our summer vacations, and any long weekend. We love the facilities because it is a very family oriented place, tranquil, comfy, nice beach and beautiful island to explore walking or biking. It is our favorite place to visit if we would like a beach vacay place.

  Very enjoyable. We've stayed in M4 for several years now and it's nice. With that said, I would like to see them update the t.v. - but no biggie. My daughters, son-in-laws & grandkids stay in M3 & M2 so it works out really nice. We had one issue with the garbage disposal and it was replaced immediately. Overall I give the stay an A+.

  Compared to other condo's at Arms West we had a good stay at M4 but some simple improvements would help.
  More "island" decorations or pictures on the walls in the Living Room to make it more festive. The black & white New York sky scraper construction picture seemed very out of place.
  No carpet anywhere is okay but a few toss rugs would be nice.
  The "lounge" chairs for watching TV were very uncomfortable.
  A dust buster and/or dust mop to clean up sand would be handy.
  Being on the ground floor is an advantage and the kitchen was well equipped and everything we used worked.

  Our first experience to Sanibel was a very nice one. We loved our place M4. The icemaker wasn't working but it wasn't a big deal so we didn't even call to have it fixed. Place was nice and clean. Plenty of kitchen cookware and utensils. A larger cooler would have been a nice addition but the small one that was provided was adequate. We will be back.

  The condo was on the ground floor, spacious and in a good location. The interior however needs some refreshing - living room chair cushions were dirty, the interior front door was damaged at the bottom and ragged, the hair dryer did not work. Overall, the condo looked tired and worn. And not the fault of the condo owner but the noise from the overhead apartment was very loud when they moved furniture in the eating area - the sound of the chairs scraping on the floor was overwhelming at all ours of the day/night.

  Overall condition of apartment m4 was good we found that the living room area could have more furniture only had a sofa and two chairs in the master bedroom a dresser was needed. The kitchen was in need of more miscellaneous kitchen utensils

  This unit was absolutely beautiful. We have stayed at Sanibel Arms West before, but in different units. From now on, this will be the unit we request. The kitchen is amazing and well stocked with the kitchen utensils and pots you need. Bathrooms are up to date as our the bedrooms. My kids loved that our back porch opened up to the path to the pool. We took some sand and shells back home with us, but more importantly, we will take the island memories in our hearts forever.

  Unit M4 Sanibel Arms West is a clean comfortable condo. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Living space is large modern and comfortable.   This unit was nicely decorated and maintained. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving. The only problem we had with the Unit was the lighting was very poor in both the living room area and the bedrooms. We needed to use our cellphone lights to read in bed at night. Better lighting is a must.

  Sanibel Arms West is one of our favorite places in the world. They make a family trip easy. Unit M4 was especially clean, updated, and the beds were very comfortable. The very short walk to the beach makes this feel like a luxury resort, as well as the heated, screened in pool. The kids loved it and we felt comfortable letting them roam and bike around the campus as needed.
  
  The staff is excellent, highly responsive, and served our quick needs well. When we found the pillows were flat, they quickly called the owner, who quickly ordered new pillows delivered directly the next day. And Sanibel Arms West also provided new updated pillows as well. On top of that, they stopped by to check to make sure that all was well and that the pillows had been delivered.
  
  We always call to book our unit so that the staff can get us in the right place and provide us detail on what's happening with the island and the beach. They are excellent to work with. We've stayed at M$ many years ago, and will likely stay here again. Great unit!
  
  (Only recommendation is that the unit needs a center rug for the living room to make it feel warmer and easier for kids to play on the floor. Others might prefer not to have a rug for cleanliness aspect, and I understand that it would take replacing more often, but that is the only item we would recommend in this unit.)
